Famous Quote from a GREAT President -- Ronald Reagan
"Here's my strategy on the Cold War: We win they lose." "The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I am here to help."
"The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant: It's just that they know so much that isn't so."
"Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the U.S. was too strong."

"I have wondered at times about what the Ten Commandments would have looked like if Moses had run them through the U.S. Congress."

"The taxpayer: That's someone who works for the federal government but doesn't have to take the civil service examination."

"Government is like a baby: An alimentary cannel with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other." "The nearest thing to eternal life we will ever see on this earth is a government program."
"I've laid down the law, though, to everyone from now on about anything that happens: no matter what time it is, wake me, even if it;s in the middle of a cabinet meeting." "It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first."
"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it." "Politics is not a bad profession. If you succeed, there are many rewards; if you disgrace yourself, you can always write a book."
"No arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is as formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women." "If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."

SOME ETIQUETTE REMINDERS:

1. Please enter the courts when it is your time to go on. There is a clock on the fence by the bulletin boards by court No. 1. If time is up and players are still playing politely ask them to please finish their point and that it is time.

2. Please do not enter courts from the sides use the apporiate gate when going to your court and when leaving the courts -- please close court gates.

3. Please do not hang out under the canopies waiting for your court time. It is disturbing to the players on the court.

4. If the Pro is giving a lesson, it is proper etiquette to wait until his lession is finished before approaching him.

5. When returning the serve and the ball is out, the proper thing to do is to call it a fault and hit it into the net or to the sideline, not back to the server.

News from the Bocce Courts:

The number of teams has expande to 10 this year, giving us 40 team member and 7 reliable subs.

As of March13th, we have only three more weeks before the playoffs that begin on April 10th. So far "WHO" has a commanding four game lead.

You read it right. Chuck Cochrane, Doug Donati, Rich Lehner and the captain, Paul Sullivan, names their team the "WHO", and don't you think we didn't have a good time with that name. The closest teams in the chase are the "BARACUDAS" and the "GATORETTES" (our all women team!) Looks like everybody chasing "WHO" will have to wait for the playoff to get a shot at them and a shot at 1st place.
